Joseph + Stevi {Della Terra Mountain Chateau}
When we met Stevi and her mom at the Rocky Mountain Bridal Show, we knew they were going to be an amazing couple to capture. They were high school sweethearts, she was collecting THOUSANDS of flowers for their altar and she flew to Florida to SEE (not try on, but see) her gown in person from the amazing designer, Rosa Clara.
As we grew to know this couple we had the amazing experience of doing our first ever color run engagement session and had a blast! Something about a couple professing their love for one another by chucking bags of chalk and paint at each other that just makes you smile!
In all the time we had to get to know them, Stevi had one secret up her sleeve for her wedding day. In 2012 she started writing down all 200 reasons why she loved Joseph and wanted to marry him. All our time doing wedding photography, we've never seen anything so thoughtful. Pages filled with every thought Stevi had....simply amazing.
To Joseph and Stevi, don't ever loose sight of the incredible joy and love you two have. The way you share how much you two love one another is something that the world needs, so please don't ever forget that. Your wedding reminded us that we need to share more words with one another. Sometimes seeing and reading the way someone feels about you is better received than simply saying. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to capture your day and we hope it brings you joy for years to come.
