Steve + Holly {Cheyenne Mountain Resort Wedding}

In all the years we’ve shot weddings, the common preference for weather on a wedding day seems to be bright blue skies and sunny. While we do love playing with direct sun and the richness of color it produces, we always love to play in the rain!

Steve and Holly started their day at Grace Episcopal Church in Colorado Springs in what looked to be a very wet day. There is always a fairy tale like feeling when you are in a church like this with stunning architecture and beautiful stained glass windows. The intricate details and rich colors pull you into the history of this amazing place. Although there were thunderstorms and lighting rolling in before the ceremony, the overcast, dramatic skies also create some amazing photos.

Right from the start, you could see the deep connection between all the family and close friends attending. Steve and Holly are definitely surrounded with a deep sense of faith and a community. Even if you didn’t know that about them, it wouldn’t be long to see how deeply in love they are with each other.

Steve and Holly, thank you so much for having us be a part of your amazing day! We couldn’t be more excited to see what the future holds for you and hope you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed taking them!
