There are so many factors that go into a perfect wedding day. Everyone wants a clear blue sky, nice breeze and gorgeous views. Bonus for a gorgeous venue with a pond and horses and right? A day surrounded by the people you love and the person of your dreams... Well, Derek and Chessa hit the trifecta of perfection with their incredible wedding at Devils Thumb Ranch!

As photographers, you always hope for a couple with natural chemistry and a sense of pure love that radiates in all they do. There was a point in the day we were goofing off, laughing and we quickly moved to asking them to "Hold one another close, pull them into you. Now we want you to get serious, close your eyes and if this was your last day on earth, how would you hold them, what would you say, how would you touch them, how would you kiss them?"

We knew how much they loved one another, but it was in that moment when their bodies completely melted into one another and you could feel the incredible bond between them.

To Derek and Chessa, we thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your amazing day. We loved capturing the joy you two share and the connection you have. When times get hard (and they will), don't ever forget the people who surrounded you in love on the greatest day of your lives. You two have an incredible gift to share with so many young lives. You also have the ability to share your love with so many and to show that marriage is amazing.
